What BestPlaces Users Say about Rindge

Rindge, New Hampshire is a small town located in the southwestern part of the state. It is known for its scenic beauty and quaint atmosphere, with a population of around 6,000 residents. Many people are drawn to Rindge for its peaceful, rural environment and strong sense of community. However, like any place, there are varying opinions and experiences of those who have lived there. Below are four user reviews from bestplaces.net that provide a glimpse into what it's like to live in Rindge.

1. "I have lived in Rindge for over 10 years and I absolutely love it here. The town has a strong sense of community and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The natural beauty of the area never gets old, with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. It's also a great place to raise a family, with good schools and a safe environment." - Sarah D.

2. "I've lived in Rindge my whole life and while it's a lovely town, it can feel quite isolated at times. There aren't many job opportunities here and the cost of living is high. But the people are nice and the scenery is beautiful. Just be prepared to commute if you want a more diverse work life." - John M.

3. "Rindge is a charming town, but it lacks diversity and can be quite boring. There aren't many options for entertainment or dining, and the nightlife is virtually non-existent. But if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place to retire, this is it." - Rachel B.

4. "I moved to Rindge for college and I have to say, I fell in love with this place. The campus is beautiful and the town itself is like something out of a postcard. The people are friendly and there's always something fun happening. It's the perfect mix of small town charm and college town energy." - Mark L.

From these reviews, it's clear that Rindge offers a tight-knit community and picturesque surroundings, but it may not be for everyone. It's important to consider factors like job opportunities and diversity before making the decision to live here. However, for those who appreciate a quiet, close-knit community and natural beauty, Rindge may be the perfect place to call home.

The title says alot, this place has slowly been taken over by transplants from MASS who come in and run for election on the Boards, then force their agenda with no regard for the public opinion. A small minority of transplants run this town, so beware, unless of course you yourself are an elitist bleeding heart liberal with a great pension and can afford the ridiculous property taxes, in that case you'll be right at home. But sooner or later the working man will be forced out of this town. Too bad because its a nice area, but the stranglehold on development of both residential and commercial has taken its toll, and the no end in sight property tax increases mean you will NEVER own your home. You'll always be indebted to the town, county and state forever so keep your nose to the grinding wheel so you can churn out those bucks to pay your property taxes. The municipal depts are always asking for more money, the co-op schools are awful and out of control on spending, this will be the Read More
